Yesterday I moved the @glasgowsnp emergency motion condemning recent comments by Farage about Glasgow’s schoolchildren. With constructive amendments from colleagues across the chamber it passed unanimously - Reform didn’t bother to show up to defend their beliefs. None of our children are any less Glaswegian for speaking a language other than English at home, and shame on those who would tell our children otherwise. #language #multilingual #bilingual
It would have been Giles Bear’s ninth birthday today. We never lived together, but he was such a fine upstanding bear and I loved him very much. He’s sorely missed. 🖤
