Lately I’ve been learning new songs, but more than that, I’ve been learning new ways to take care of myself.
I’m 31 days into a 90-day experiment with a vegan lifestyle not because I have it all figured out, but because I needed a reset. There’s been a lot of “food noise” in my head for a long time, and this is my way of getting quiet enough to actually hear myself again.
And something unexpected happened…
I started falling in love with my guitar again.
Not in a forced way. Not like I should be playing but like I want to. Like I missed it, and it missed me back.
That’s been the real gift so far.
I don’t fully know where this road leads yet, but I’m excited to find out. I’m going to start sharing more of this journey back to music, and honestly, back to myself.

I’ve never known a love like this before. My wife has made my life softer and stronger at the same time. She’s a gift one I’m grateful for every single day.
She moves through the world with this childlike wonder, and somehow it’s slowed me down. In the middle of all the noise and chaos, she’s helped me feel where I actually stand. She notices the light. She notices the small things. And because she does, I do too.
She calls me in. She says the hard thing not to tear me down, but because she believes in who I say I am. I’ve never had someone hold my hand while I look in the mirror. I’ve never had someone stay while I figure myself out.
I love you, Tori. Thank you for being exactly who you are. Thank you for teaching me that our hearts can grow in depth and compassion not just burn bright with fire and passion.

These are some of the things that made last year good. Going to start sharing more stuff on here that’s not political. It’s sad to say but loving on my family is an act of resistance and it’s my favorite one. Can’t love in fear. 2026 will be good, I refuse anything less.

A couple months ago @sivanb invited me to a training program she thought would be good for my personal and professional development, the proceeds from this pop-up will be going towards the tuition of this training. This past weekend was a dream come true. Thankful to have been apart of such an incredible 30th Anniversary to the best festival of all time @vanswarpedtour .
