The artistic direction of our space came from this image of an Amazigh tent in the desert. A sheltering, textured, intimate world that deeply inspired how we imagined Akermus.
Seven musicians came together and played a fully improvised live jazz orchestra, and the level of talent was honestly off the charts.
We can only feel grateful to be there and to experience something so raw, so real, and so beautiful, knowing it wonât ever exist again in the same way.
and to everyone who filled the room with such warmth and presence: thank you thank you. It was a special night in every sense.
