I ran the London Marathon?! Most definitely one of the hardest things I have ever done, but easily one of the best days of my life so far. The crowds were incredible the entire way around the course. The atmosphere was electric. My people?!? They really showed up for me ❤️ I am so grateful. My family and friends made sure I saw them at several points along the route, which helped so much as when things got tough I would use the meet ups along the way as milestones. I was jumping around that course as if I didn’t have 26.2 miles to run 🤣 Thank you so so much to everyone that showed love and support. The strangers that shouted my name and gave me a push at the points I was really struggling. My family ❤️ My friends ❤️ The running community ❤️ @theoutrunners what a community you are. Thank you so much for this opportunity and making it so running is truly accessible to all. That cheer zone was INCREDIBLE and maintaining that energy throughout the day takes work. Thank you @tylerwilliamsgreen @coco_popz_ @ellene568 and everyone that was at that cheerzone from the early hours throughout the day and until the last runner that came through ❤️ @826active you are so special, because why am I jumping around like that at mile 24?! Captured by @_mikedoesit on slide 6. Thank you 826 for all that you do to make running and fitness fun and for building such a beautiful community 💫 Again, the cheer zone vibes were immaculate and I know that the crew were there from the crack of dawn!! ❤️ Massive shout to everyone that ran yesterday. You are an inspiration 💖 so glad I got to see some of my fabulous people running at the start and along the way 💫 I am on such a high. @londonmarathon you are so special ❤️ #londonmarathon2026

This video captured by @samanthakatii got me reflecting on all the ways running and the opportunities it has brought have pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me to grow 🥰 Believe it or not, I’ve always naturally been quite reserved. When I was young I was painfully shy 😂 And it’s something I’ve worked on as I have grown up. When I first started turning up to run clubs, I just wanted to keep my head down and run (and there is nothing wrong with that)! But over the past couple of years, the spaces I’ve been in have helped me to push myself outside of my comfort zone and get more involved in the community. Running has helped me grow beyond the physical fitness benefits, and for that I’m so grateful ✨ Does that resonate with you? #fitness #running #community #growth

@londonmarathon Chip time: 4:51:40 I am SO happy with how my race turned out. To be transparent, I had a time in mind throughout training. I hoped to complete the course in 4 hours. I injured my knee at the start of March, and to make sure I saw that start line I cut out speed work from that point. I still had the 4 hour target in mind though. Come race day I made the decision that I wanted to enjoy every single kilometre and if I could do that and run it in 4 hours, amazing. But if not, time was not the priority for me. I was so overwhelmed with emotion and joy from the start of that race I had to soak it all in. Looking back to the start of my running journey in May 2024 and the reason why I started in the first place, I actually cannot believe I ran a whole marathon. I was at rock bottom physically and mentally a few years ago, for reasons that maybe I’ll share more broadly one day, as if it helps anyone else it’s worth it. Running has helped me to come out of that dark place. That had to be celebrated on Sunday, with so many of my loved ones who have been on this journey with me. So that’s what I did ❤️ 📸 @_mikedoesit with the exceptional camera skills as always. @nikelondon with the race day fit, helping me bounce through the streets of London ✨ see previous posts for context 😂

21 weeks done just like that?! 😱 I started building the base again at the end of November after stressing that long distance was not for me, following on from my Lisbon Half experience in October 😅 Look at me now, getting ready to run twice as far on Sunday ✨ Last week was complete with running with some of my faves, strength training with Nike and race day kit drop with @theoutrunners ✨ Did I mention, I’m running LONDON MARATHON on Sunday?! And just like that, the training block is coming to an end ✨ Lots of early mornings, tough sessions and a few moments of doubt. But ultimately, the mental and physical resilience that will carry you through on race day has been built! Hope everyone that has trained for London Marathon looks back on these past few months with pride, knowing that you did all that you could. Now it’s time to trust the process, REST, and eat plenty of good food. I’ll see you at the start line! #marathontraining #londonmarathon2026 #fitness #community

Pictures for last week are few and far between! I didn’t capture any of my gym sessions, apart from the bank holiday session with the 826 active crew. Tbh, I wasn’t in a particularly “take a picture mood” for much of the week😅 But the work is still getting done and we are now firmly in the taper 🙌🏽 Thankful for the warmer weather (come back please)🌞 Seeing everyone’s Paris, Milan, Brighton and London Landmarks posts has me feeling so emotional 🥹 well done to everyone pushing towards their goals. London feels even more real now - less than two weeks to go!
