Spent the day at
@lartingtonhall Hall learning, practising, and levelling up 🪡
We covered new draping methods for weddings, from ceiling swags to backdrop builds, and went deep into table dressing with drapes. It was hands-on, detailed, and exactly the kind of training that makes you better at what you do.
The biggest takeaways for me:
New techniques for cleaner, faster backdrops, tables and wall draping
How to create structure and flow without overloading fabric
Table dressing with drapes that feels luxe but still functional for events
Tips for fabric handling, tension, and finishing details that make a difference.
The venue was stunning, the teaching was practical and amazing, and the energy in the room was so motivating. Days like this remind me why I love investing in the craft.
Back to Newcastle with new skills and fresh ideas for my clients 🤍
New techniques. New methods. New confidence.
Spent the day learning from the best
@maedaeevents advanced wedding draping and table dressing with drapes. Hands-on, practical, and full of little details I can’t wait to bring to my next setup.
Yesterday at Hall was exactly that. A class focused on wedding draping techniques and table dressing with drapes. We broke down methods I’d seen before, learned cleaner ways to execute them, and practised until it felt right.
What stood out was how small adjustments in tension, pleating, and layering completely change the final look. The kind of details clients don’t notice individually, but feel as a whole.
Grateful for the instructors, the space, and the chance to learn alongside other stylists. Coming back with a notebook full of ideas for upcoming weddings.
Table dressing with drapes is an art.
