We are all gonna die.
This line has been repeating over and over again in the sleepless 4 a.m. practices, stage rehearsals, on-stage performances, and in the heart of every one of our dancers throughout the last few months.
Every time we performed, won, and even when we didn't, it was always this huge wave of emotion that gave us the most satisfaction at the end of the day. The song, even though it speaks about the loss of the singer's mother, reminds us about the value of our loved ones and the uncertainty of life. From the 30-second zone time before the performance till the end of the song, we open our hearts like never before.
We danced with this intention and emotion, not to win but to express ourselves, to make every single person in front of us feel what we were feeling and every tear, cheer, message and the feedback we received were merits of that.
Thank you for gifting us this beautiful piece
