As every year, it took me a while to process the beautiful, yet intense and challenging weeks in August. Now the festival is already more than a month ago – and I’m still totally blown away by what the whole
@schwingundstampf_festival crew pulled off this year!
This year felt special for us. It was a turning point that showed us all the hard work of the last three years – endless meetings, negotiations, unnecessary conflicts, ups & downs, late nights behind the computer, countless build-up- and teardown days and transport missions, hours in DIY stores and online shops – really paid off. I even spent forever learning how to draw 3D models for our stage designs just to make things work. And of course, we had to push through all kinds of weather – from heavy rain to crazy hot days. Nothing stopped us. I’m beyond proud and grateful that
@svenergy_ and I managed to put together such a diverse line-up, including some of our absolute favorite artists. That means the world to me!
From a random late-night idea about four years ago, we’ve built a truly beautiful community, gathered the best crew on earth and created a fully independent festival for the scene – which was completely sold out weeks in advance this year. Massive thanks to everyone who believed in us from the very beginning and supported us along the way till now. ❤️❤️
I’m also super thankful for all the amazing people I’ve met through the festival over the years – some of them I now have the privilege to call my friends.
And of course, big love to everyone who made this project possible: all the super lovely volunteers, sponsors and partners, all the amazing artists, the 4x4ever crew, family & friends – and of course, our entire festival crew. You know you all are the best!!
