Dawn Duel is a short film with a twist on the "will they, won't they" romance tail.
Ella is a woman of status but dwindling wealth. As she learns the family business in an attempt to save their estate she meets Robert. Forced to retire from military service due to injury and now the owner of the largest estate in the county... and Ella biggest creditor.
As he flirts and teases her, their relationship becomes full of tension and passion, however unlike most stories where the squabbling pair finally admit their love... they decide to settle this with steel.
The film turns from heated passion and sexual tension into a rage fuelled blood soaked final conflict, as Robert's injuries make the fight much more even than initially it seems.
Shooting June 20th & 21st - Worcestershire.
