MJ has always been a very personal experience for me, DVDs that my uncle got for me which I would watch endlessly everyday and eventually perform at places my parents would take me. I realised I had forgotten about this experience through teenage and adulthood yet it continued to shape me in ways I could not understand then. Only now that I get back to his songs, his videos as an adult, I feel connected to this 12 year old Aaro who was rather fearless without having people tell him he's special. I am not letting go.

The last four days have been a whirlwind. So much learning, so many moments and honestly, I don’t even know where the time went.
Yesterday we went overboard with the audience and what came back, it was surreal. The kind of connection you can’t plan, only feel.
On 25th March, I had written-
“I genuinely feel this won’t be just another “wow, great play” kind of experience. It’s something that will stay with you, make you pause and really think. There’s so much honesty and intensity in what we’re trying to create and I believe it goes beyond just a theatrical performance.”
Reading and hearing what people are saying now it’s making me believe that even more. Maybe we did manage to create something honest. Something that stayed.
Art karna mushkil hai. Bohot mushkil. Lekin phir bhi karenge. Aur aage badhte rahenge.

Stole a few minutes with myself before prepping for today's run of 'Haircut for Bald People' , and came running to me this song that I incidentally wrote a few months after joining the making of the play with @horvibhor . I do believe it when Lucky says 'everything is interconnected' because this wouldn't have happened this way if not for the things that happened before (even if they are seemingly distant from each other) (COME FOR THE SHOW 🔪). Chronology toh hai bas samajh jae toh changa si¿ You can maybe tell I'm playing with the Piano for the first time maybe not but here's an excerpt of a song I wrote during a brief moment of loneliness, that found me today at a brief moment of solitude.
