La compilation s'appelle "Musique des alliés". Longue attente, mais grande joie de pouvoir enfin partager ce projet. Un assemblage de musiques ambient, new-age et dub. Des travaux d'amis, d'ici et d'ailleurs.

Nouvel appel du call center en provenance de Los Angeles. John Jones aka AV Moves.
Il vient de sortir une cassette sur le label Leaving Records : « In a Pause ».
Un instant figé dans ce monde fou ; sa musique est un subtil « mélange » d’ambiances spatiales, d’électroniques moléculaires et de riffs Jazz. Quelque peu New-Age.
C’est une tape qui m’accompagne souvent. Surprenante. Magnifique et bénéfique.

John Jones aka AV Moves—who just recently released a tape on Leaving Records called “In a Pause”—provides us with a moment of stillness amidst the crazy world of today.
His music subtly blends together spatial ambiances, molecular electronics, and Jazz riffs. It’s a little bit New Age-y...
I keep coming back to his tape. It’s surprising. It’s magnificent and beneficial.

@joao.maia.e.silva inaugure mon tout neuf label Incoming Call, avec son "Back Latent Crook".
Première cassette (c-40), enregistrée et dupliquée "maison".
40 minutes d'envolées "électro-numérique" composées avec max/msp.
Tout y est sombre, clair, minutieux et scintillant.

some Joao words : "This album was born from a first attempt at creating a full system for composing and performing electronic music in max/msp.
Although the album has 10 parts, it was composed as a long seamless compostion, without gaps, rendering what would be a live performance captured in one take.
The first concern was not to create a piece of “generic” software, that would serve every attempt to create music.
Rather, it is a very limited system because it already has a “spirit” in its foundations, suitable for a certain musical atmosphere that I was trying to create.
Ultimately, it’s a stand against “neutral” music technology, the one that comes with a promisse to solve all your composition problems."
