Story time!
It’s been a decade since I left my hometown.
A couple of years ago, my family kept nudging me -
when will you perform in Mangalore?
I always said, not yet.
Not because I didn’t want to.
Because I knew, somehow, the time hadn’t arrived.
I couldn’t explain it then. I just trusted the feeling.
Fast forward to 2025, something shifted.
I felt ready.
I still didn’t chase it… and that’s when the universe did its thing.
Offers started flowing in, and within three months
I performed at three major public events in my hometown.
This one, though, hit different.
It was organised by the Government of Karnataka.
They said they wanted to showcase me and my band in the city of Mangalore.
There’s honestly no greater honour than being seen, truly seen, by your own city.
Of course, no show comes without its chaos.
Nothing worth doing ever is.
But we adapt. We push through.
And the show always goes on.
Endless gratitude for my team -
for holding the fort, having my back,
and making the magic happen every single time. ❤️

The Frangipani Tour was not only one of the most wholesome experiences in my life, it was one of the most inspiring musical productions I have seen in India in recent times.
Watching @kabervasuki pour his heart out on stage, taking you through the story of his life - it’s easy to see why his singa kootam fans love him so much. He has lived all our lives and felt all our pain. His music is his truth and I think we’re all incredibly lucky to have an independent artist like him making the most realest music in a world filled with Tamil film industry generic bullshit. To those of you who came and sang along, what a beautiful sight to see. To everyone who couldn’t make it, keep an eye and ear open, I hear more news is coming soon !
Also hats off to an amazing band, ridiculously good performance by the boys @bigsammakesmusic@reninraphael12@judinfinny@__rathead__ ! Super tight, incredible backing and support!
Hats off to the openers at every city @siennor.wav@ajaynathan_@hari.kadhaa for incredible sets!
And lastly insane work by the team and every one involved @vimaladithan@shazam12_ The MCs @c_vairra@isai.isaiprakash and not to forget all the volunteers, the sound engineers and the vendors!
