Whether you like it or not. There’s a time when Nigeria won’t be known for having crooks or shallow Christians. We’d be known for a love that seems too good to be true- the love of God. This time will not be a phase, it’ll last till He returns.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” ‭‭ Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Digital Diary Entry 2 The way I hoard memories sometimes should be a crime 😅. This was just first week of November but it feels like July. I was glad we decided to go out and kept to our word 🤗.

…except flying goats of course 😂. That’s fantasy. We’ve heard many times that the human mind is very powerful. Recently, I’ve understood it much deeper– and continue to understand in fact. As a man thinks in his ♡, so is he. Your imaginations are like seeds. It doesn’t look like it but there’s so much in a seed– all it needs is time and a conducive environment. It’s the same with our imaginations. You’re the only one that sees them, everyone is unsuspecting of what they’ll bear. Sometimes even you don’t believe the potential of your thoughts. You literally cannot go anywhere your mind hasn’t gone. When you return home from work, you’re at ease because you know where you’re going. The route is embedded in your mind. But when you go somewhere unfamiliar, the journey seems harder or uneasy. If in your imaginations you’ve see bad things for yourself, the journey there would be seamless. And the thing about our flesh and this world is that it’s so easy to see bad things– “contrary to God” things! So we MUST put in whatever effort to only imagine whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, good, virtuous and praiseworthy. Imagine yourself living and enjoying the gifts and promises scattered all over God’s word. Hope this blessed you?

This account is in Genesis 19. Sodom, Gomorrah and Lot’s wife were destroyed because they weren’t in the place of grace. Lot’s daughters were not destroyed because they were in the place of grace. Everyone not in Christ will be destroyed. Everyone in Christ will be spared. Those in Christ will never escape consequences of their actions simply because they’re in grace but they will escape eternal damnation. Because of Adam, humanity is destined for damnation (eternity separated from Yahweh). But Jesus wants us all, that’s why He was sacrificed (took the damnation for you) and intercedes on our behalf whenever Satan accuses us and crushes us with guilt. You have to agree in your soul that He’s done this for you though. Get to know Jesus and you’ll be transformed! Hope this blessed you?

I really enjoyed reading this. Pastor Andrew deeply understands God’s nature- truly. He was that Christian that was so “perfect” and too careful about His actions and thoughts, forgetting God is the type to keep us from stumbling. His writing is very easy to understand– my kinda teacher 😅. He simplifies the grace of God without discarding our call to holiness. I recommend you read this if: • you are afraid of God because you commit(ed) sin • you’d like to understand God better
