Towards the end of this past year, we woke up to find Chug’s hind legs completely immobile which resulted in an emergency spinal surgery. Thankfully our vet called all over the state to find a surgeon who could do it that day, otherwise there was a possibility that the surgery wouldn’t work, which was terrifying to think that he might not be able to walk or run again.
We rearranged our whole house and routines to adjust to what his life is going to look like from now on, and he does have to take it a little bit easier than before. But he’s now fully healed and happier than ever. 🤍
Today he turns 5 years old! Happy birthday Chug, say it back!

One month since the best weekend of my life. 🧚
It’s been non stop since, but now that we have a chance to breathe, I want to give thanks to all of our friends and family for helping us with everything to create the perfect wedding and vacation/staycation for everyone. From officiating, working on floral arrangements, driving up/setting up gear/music/djing, photography, catering, helping either of us while getting ready, flying out from out of town just to be there, or straight up emotional support.
There’s too many people to tag, which solidifies everything I just said and why i’m overwhelmed with appreciation. But we could not have done it without the help of all of you.
