Hacıbektaş Oteli, 2021. Nevşehir’de seksen oda kapasitesi otel, kente özgü parçalı kurgular, avlular, açıklıklar ile biçimlenen belirgin bir kimlik ortaya koyar. Kütle kompozisyonunda tekil ve anıtsal bir form yerine, yerel dokuya eklemlenen parçalı bir kurgu benimsenir. Bu yaklaşım, program yoğunluğunu araziye yayarak insan ölçeğinde mekanlar yaratılmasını sağlar. Farklı noktalardan alınan girişler ile fonksiyonel netlik sağlayan proje, mevcut yapıların dönüşümüyle genişleyebilen esnek bir sisteme sahiptir. In Nevşehir, an 80-room hotel has a distinct identity shaped by the city’s characteristic fragmented compositions, courtyards and open spaces. Rather than a singular, monumental form, the composition of the building mass adopts a fragmented layout that integrates with the local fabric. This approach distributes the program’s density across the site, enabling the creation of spaces on a human scale. The project, which achieves functional clarity through entrances at various points, features a flexible system capable of expanding through the conversion of existing buildings. Consequently, both the relationships with the existing buildings on the site and the newly added units render the project a dynamic and living fabric. Hacıbektaş Oteli, 2021. Nevşehir’in tarihi kent dokusunun karakterini sürdüren otel, çok amaçlı salonu, spa ve yüzme havuzları ile yoğun programlı bir yapıdır. Proje, kullanıcı ihtiyaçlarına göre iki ana bölge olarak kurgulanır. Bu iki bölgenin birbirinden ayrımı, yapı içindeki yaşam kalitesi ve mahremiyet dengesini belirler. Odalar ile ortak alanlar arasında yatayda bir ara bölge yer alır. Bu bölge, gürültü ve yoğunluktan kaçış sağlayan bir geçiş zonudur. Tasarımın karakteristik özelliklerinden biri, ana omurgadan beslenen kılcal damarlar gibi araziye yayılan yaya yolları ve odalar arasındaki avlulardır. Preserving the character of Nevşehir’s historic urban fabric, the hotel is a complex with a multi-purpose hall, spa and swimming pools. The project is conceived as two main zones tailored to user needs. The distinction between these two zones determines the balance of quality of life and privacy within the building. A transitional zone lies horizontally between the rooms and the communal areas. This zone serves as a transitional area offering respite from noise and congestion. A characteristic feature of the design is the network of pedestrian paths and courtyards between the rooms, which radiate out across the site like capillaries feeding from the main spine. Furthermore, the design incorporates a flexible growth strategy that allows for the integration of the existing dormitory building on the site into the system through conversion. Bursa Atatürk Spor Salonu, 2020. Yıkılan Atatürk Stadyumu’nun yerinde, eski Beylikbahçe ve Vakıf Bahçe dönemindeki gibi bütüncül bir yeşil dokunun yeniden canlandırılması amaçlanmıştır. Havuzun üzerini örten çatı plağı dış mekânda en başat bağlantıyı sağlayan mimari elemandır. Bu sayede bahçe ve Kültürpark Bağlantı Yolu güçlü biçimde bağlanırken aynı zamanda kentsel bir kullanımla da zenginleştirilir. Basketbol Salonu’nun çatı plağı ise kuzeye doğru yükselerek kente yüzünü gösterir. Millet Bahçesi’nin adeta yapının içine süzüldüğü boşluklar yapı ile bahçe kotunun ilişkisini kurarken, aynı zamanda iç mekâna doğal ışık sağlayan mekânsal enstrümanlardır. Detaylar için .tr . . Bursa Atatürk Sports Hall, 2020. It is aimed to regenerate integrity of the green texture on the site of the demolished Bursa Atatürk Stadium, similar to the former Beylikbahçe Mulberry Grove and Vakıf Bahçe periods. The roof slab over the pool is the architectural element that establishes the most prominent connection with outdoor space. This way, the garden and the Kültürpark Connection Road are strongly linked, while being enriched with urban use. The roof slab of the Basketball Hall rises to the north, showcasing its face to the city. Spaces where the Millet Garden seems to flow into the building establish the relationship between the building and the garden level, while acting as spatial instruments that provide natural light to the interior. Bursa Atatürk Spor Salonu, 2020. Eski stadyum ve spor salonunun yıkılmasından sonra yeni bir mekânsal onarım fırsatı doğmuştur. Ödüllü projenin çıkış noktası, Kültürpark çeperinde bulunan bu “yer”i yeniden mevcut yeşil dokunun bir parçası kılmaktır. Bulunduğu yere ait olacak biçimde oturan, her türlü olası yaya hareketine alan açan, işlevsel olarak rafine ve net çözümler sunan bir kurgudur. Farklı kentsel modlar arasında ilişkiler kuran bir “Bağ”dır. Basit bir plak ile örtülen program bileşenleri kendi içinde iki ana kısımda toplanır. Detaylar için .tr . . Monument for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic, 2023. The demolition of the old stadium and sports hall has created a unique opportunity for spatial renovation. The starting point of the awarded project is the transformation of the ‘place’ on the periphery of Kültürpark into an extension of the existing green fabric. The design is seamlessly integrated with its surroundings, allowing for all possible pedestrian access points and offering refined and clear functional solutions. The “Node” establishes connections between different urban modes of activity. The programme components, covered by a simple slab, are grouped into two main parts: the Basketball Hall, whose roof opens towards the city, and the Covered Pool, which moves away from Stadium Street and approaches Kültürpark while remaining more concealed. Cumhuriyetin 100. Yılı Anıtı, 2023. Atatürk’ün Milli Mücadele’nin merkezi Ankara’ya ilk girdiği nokta olan Dikmen Çaldağ Tepesi’nde, Ankara Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından Cumhuriyetin 100. yılı vesilesiyle bir anıt yarışması düzenlenir. Tepenin taş ocağı olarak kullanıldığı dönemden kalan derin oyukların mekânsal birer öğe olarak ele alınıp güçlendirilmesi, projenin temel tasarım kararıdır. Alanın topografik ve morfolojik verileri doğrultusunda “etkinlik” ve “müze” aksları tanımlanarak, yeni anıt ve anma mekânları bu akslar üzerinde kurgulanır. Monument for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic, 2023. A monument competition was organised by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality on the occasion of the centenary of the Republic at Dikmen Çaldağ Hill, where Atatürk first entered Ankara, the centre of the National Struggle. The principal design decision of the project is to reinterpret and reinforce the deep cavities remaining from the period when the hill was used as a stone quarry, treating them as spatial elements. In line with the topographical and morphological data of the site, “event” and “museum” axes are defined, and the new monument and memorial spaces are organised along these axes. In order to enhance the recreational potential of the area, focal points such as sports / cultural activity areas and an open-air museum are planned within the cavities and niches. Cumhuriyetin 100. Yılı Anıtı, 2023. Atatürk’ün 27 Aralık 1919’da Ankara’ya ayak bastığı Dikmen Çaldağ Tepesi, Kurtuluş Savaşı’nın simge mekânlarından biridir. Ankara Büyükşehir Belediyesi tarafından Cumhuriyetin 100. yılı vesilesiyle 2023 yılında bu tepe üzerinde bir anıt yarışması düzenlenir. Projede müze ve anıt, tepenin en yüksek noktasında birbiriyle bütünleşik bir yapıda kurgulanır. Cumhuriyetin her bir yılını temsil eden ve göğe doğru yükselen taş katmanlarından oluşan anıt, ziyaretçilerine hem mekânsal hem de düşünsel bir deneyim sunar. Dikmen Çaldağ Hill, where Atatürk set foot in Ankara on 27 December 1919, is one of the symbolic sites of the War of Independence. On the occasion of the centenary of the Republic, a monument competition was organised by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality on this hill in 2023. In the project, the museum and the monument are conceived as an integrated structure at the highest point of the hill. Composed of stone layers rising towards the sky, each representing a year of the Republic, the monument offers its visitors both a spatial and an intellectual experience. The primary material of the structure consists of local stone remaining from the quarry on the site. İki katmanlı olarak tasarlanan Zavala Sahil Yolu, doğayla uyumlu bir keşif rotasıdır. Sahil bandı yaya öncelikli ulaşım sistemiyle desteklenir. Sahil boyunca bisiklet yolları ve yürüyüş rotalarıyla kesintisiz bir akış sağlanır. Yerel mimariye uygun olarak teras ve avlular tasarlanır. Çevre dostu malzeme ve yöntem kullanımı önceliklidir. The main principal of the coastal promenade redevelopment is to strengthen the connections between the city and the sea, while introducing spatial and functional order and quality to the area. The Zavala Coastal Promenade, designed as a two-tier system, offers an exploratory route in harmony with nature. The coastal band is supported by a pedestrian-priority circulation system. A continuous flow is ensured along the promenade through bicycle paths and walking routes. Terraces and courtyards are designed in accordance with the local architectural language. The use of environmentally friendly materials and methods is prioritised.
