over the past three years,
iโve been creating visuals for a range of projects and i became more and more interested and invested in design and would like to take it more seriously.
i started this new account @tcbu.grafik to show my work. it's mostly event posters and cover art for music, but i'll try and share sketches, concepts, and ideas as well.
this work is a sketch โ typo and handwritten/drawn elements. storytime: back in school, i used to draw and scribble in my math notebooks. when i really liked a drawing, i would carefully open the staples of the book and remove the page to keep it. when we had to hand in our notebooks,
i was always a little afraid the teacher would notice that my book was too light or too thin. it never happened. these rust-red books weirdly have a place in my heart, even though math class was hell for me. they remind me of dreaming off, basketballs, and athletic tracks.
the raspberry relief, crown, and horse drawings i did a while back. they are inspired by stick-and-poke aesthetics. i think they would actually work well on skin.
