Zineb Bouchra (b. 2001, Morocco) — "Fragments" / شروخ February 29, 1960. An earthquake destroyed Agadir in 15 seconds. Over 12,000 people died. Zineb was born decades later — and went looking through the city's archive for what persisted. Her Agadir Earthquake Series renders the event through abstraction: fragments suspended in mid-fall across dark canvases, colliding and scattering. Then her practice shifts. The In Between Series transforms that same mark-making language into something luminous — bougainvillea blooming in purples, pinks, and pale greens. The same gestures that testified to loss now testify to growth. 11 mixed media canvases. Two series. One continuous gesture — from darkness into light. Presented as part of What We Witness, We Carry — a collective showcase during @154artfair Marrakech, February 2026. Inquire for available works.

Adem Yahiaoui (b. 1987, Algeria) — "10,000 Years" / ١٠٠٠٠ سنة Tassili N'Ajjer, southeastern Algeria. A UNESCO World Heritage site holding over 15,000 ancient rock engravings and paintings. Adem has returned three times — 2014, 2018, 2025 — building a decade-long archive on B&W film. The desert is not empty. The engravings are not relics. Tuareg and local communities live here alongside marks made 10,000 years ago, under the same light, in the same wind. Archive and home are the same place. 15 B&W film photographs. Featured in UNESCO's Patrimoine mondial africain: Une diversité remarquable, October 2025. Presented as part of What We Witness, We Carry — a collective showcase during @154artfair Marrakech, February 2026. Inquire for available works.
