For my graduation-project @burgtypo I built myself a tool that let me use ableton – in connection with touchdesigner - as a tool to generate visual materials (cover, poster etc.) for my self produced music. In a second step i went to print the generated covers & posters on a risograph, trying to translate the digital colors as closely as possible. This is a small selection from the huge pile of prints I have printed. Formats are: 297mm x 297mm 420mm * 297mm (A3) 594 * 420mm (A2) There's still plenty left for you to decorate your rooms with, DM me!

My visual Interpretation of Contour. Slide 2&3 show what it looks like as visual accompaniment to our liveset as @kg_aufbau For my bachelor's project, I came up with the idea of finding a tool that would allow me to make the process of creating artwork for my music (and the music of others) more intuitive and require less control on my part. This premise and the appeal of exploring generative design led me to TouchDesigner. I can relinquish control exactly where I want to, while still being able to intervene in great detail elsewhere. When using TouchDesigner in conjunction with Ableton Live, instruments become graphic tools. Brushes and effects serve as a visual representation of drums and synthesizers, harmonies and rhythms. So I build myself a visual ‘jamming’ tool. Similar to a loop, from which an entire song emerges in the course of songwriting, numerous visual ideas are generated in a playful way. And now the Kunstgemeinschaft is bringing it to the 2020s Dancefloors, where everything still checks out and we're angry about it. Angry about our internalized pressure for self-improvement. Angry that even the greatest sacrifice and non-stop work no longer necessarily provides a secure income while the rich get richer. Let's use this rage. Rückblick // Ausstellung des Entwurfs für einen Lern- und Erinnerungsort // 9. Juni 2024 // Kuaför Özcan, Keupstraße 32, Köln Am Sonntag, den 9. Juni 2024, zum 20. Jahrestag des Anschlags in der Keupstraße haben wir unseren Entwurf im Rahmen des Gedenkfests „Birlikte“ gemeinsam mit Ulf Aminde @ulfaminde (Projektleitung und Konzeption) und headtrip (Mobile UX-Design & Augmented Reality) in dem Friseursalon Özcan ausgestellt. Im Zentrum der Ausstellung standen die filmischen Interviews mit den Überlebenden des Anschlags. Antirassistischer Lern- und Erinnerungsort an der Keupstraße // Konzeption einer visuellen Sprache und Entwurf einer Website // In Zusammenarbeit mit Ulf Aminde @ulfaminde Erinnern ist multiperspektivisch und komplex. Wir haben uns gefragt, wie wir eine Struktur für eine Website entwickeln können, die die Perspektive der Betroffenen zentriert und die aktiv mit verändert werden kann. Der Erinnerungsort erzählt nicht nur vom Anschlag, sondern von der Vielstimmigkeit der Keupstraße und von Mülheim, vom Zusammenleben und der Solidarität. Was bedeutet das für die visuelle Sprache und die Rolle von Bildern und Farbe? Wie kann sich die Mehrsprachigkeit des Viertels in dem Erinnerungsort wiederfinden? Im Sommer 2023 haben wir uns mit der Initiative @herkesinmeydani in der Keupstraße getroffen und über die Zeit seit den Anschlägen bis heute gesprochen, insbesondere über die 7 Jahre andauernden rassistischen Ermittlungen gegen die Betroffenen. Wie können wir Zusammenhänge, Parallelen und Widersprüche sichtbar machen? Ein Time-Mapping half uns in den Gesprächen dabei.
