To see me on this runway reminds me of one of the most intense sensations I've felt. I followed the creative process, working on the fittings with Daniel, Marie and others just as important that make the brand be what it is. And more then being a part of their vision, was to have had the opportunity to see up and close brilliant professionals in action. To have been chosen to open possibly the most anticipated show of MFW was certainly very gratifying. In one of the rings from Bottega, there is an image of St George, patron of England and Rio de Janeiro. A saint well known by us Brazilians, he represents strength, courage, bravery and determination. I have a small statue of him in my room and to see his image assured me I was in the right place. And to end it all, I walked to a song from the soundtrack of Pina Bausch, one of my favorite films which tells a story of a creative, talented and strong woman, just like this collection.
The universe never disappoints me.
