Co-founders of the iconic club night NYMPHO, monoga.my and Teddyyy (fka Eva Lucian) have cemented themselves as key figures in Tāmaki Makaurau’s queer nightlife scene. Brought together by a shared love of experimental dance-pop, their sets fuse the shimmer of commercial chart-hits with the grit of underground club music. In the past year, they have shared lineups with 100 gecs, horsegiirL, TAAHLIAH, Umru and Petal Supply.

🙀Long time third party fav and legend of the underground @mrmeatyboy will be tearing it UP on the D Fl00r this Friday! 😸😸😸 MR MEATY BOY (Ngāti Porou, Ngāpuhi) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. They have recently returned to the hills of Wellington after their introduction to the underground dance music scene of Ōtautahi. Their early introduction to footwork, house and techno has inspired and led to their present music description as ‘techno fetish’ - avoiding simplistic categorisation of club music and encouraging a more playful and open response from listeners. They run a club night initiative with other Ōtautahi artists called WAY.PNT that endeavours to connect the artists of other underground scenes in Aotearoa.

Philadelphia-based DJ and Producer estoc purposefully channels her incendiary, anti-fascist politics through her music. Aggressive and uncompromising, estoc’s mixes have become highlights for many well-known outlets such as Discwoman, Boiler Room, and FACT. Her edits and remixes are known for being the secret tools of many of the world’s most forward-thinking DJs. Not satisfied with only being the queen of blends, estoc’s released her first full-length album ‚Serenity‘ in 2022, which Resident Advisor described as a „furious call-to-action“.
