This Thursday at Spy Bar 🫐 We proudly present @majvisuperstar as the second featured act of the evening: Majvi Superstar is the artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Stockholm who has long been working behind the scenes in the Swedish music scene. Raised at the piano, with influences ranging from classical music to Indian improvisational music, and later active as both a touring and session musician, she has likely performed on most of the country’s stages. However, her own music has always remained at the core of her work—if not for the public, then within her own creative space. Majvi creates genre-blending, artistic pop that resonates, combining the vulnerable and intimate with the grand and expansive. Last year, she performed 25 concerts under her own name across the Nordics, the United States, and on a solo tour in Italy. Later this year, she will also appear as a musician alongside artists such as Waterbaby, Titiyo, and Lykke Li.
