Originally, I planned to release it on my birthday, but the more I worked on it, the more details, stories, and love I poured into it. So here it is, finally ready for you!

Neaf isn’t a rebrand. It’s a reset. After many years, countless aliases and even more sets, he stripped it back to what actually matters: identity. Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany with Indonesian roots, his sound moves between Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Baile Funk and EDM. Somewhere between global club energy and sharp edits, with zero interest in staying in one lane.
In 2025, he co-founded the collective Dari Hati alongside Warno. An ongoing journey shaped by growth, community and a shared drive to push things forward. He also produces his own music, including the lo-fi hip hop album The Ugly Swimsuit (2019, under the name VACT) and a steady stream of remixes and edits.
Off the decks, he’s a graphic designer & art director and the Musical Director of the Angklung Hamburg Orchestra.

Dari Hati – translated from Indonesian as “from the heart” – is a DJ and music collective based in Hamburg. The collective brings together global sounds, urban genres, and creative collaboration to create musical spaces that connect and inspire people. Each performance is an expression of cultural diversity, passion, and a spirit of experimentation.
The Dari Hati Collective was founded in March 2025 by NEAF (33) and WARNO (30). As a young collective still in its early stages, the group is driven by the goal of bringing music, creative collaboration, and cultural exchange to the stage.
NEAF and WARNO grew up together in Hamburg and share a close, brother-like bond that gives the collective a unique depth. Both have Indonesian migration backgrounds and were exposed to diverse cultural influences from an early age, shaping their artistic identities. Music has always been a constant in their lives – from traditional Indonesian sounds to global urban genres. Hip-hop, in particular, has had a lasting influence and remains a central part of their artistic work.
Dari Hati stands for openness, cultural diversity, and artistic authenticity. Music and art are treated with respect and appreciation. The collective creates spaces where people, genres, and cultures meet and form new connections.
