Hell's Boundaries (2021)
— UI design + fullstack development as a form of conceptual art and expression of self (through meming)

Born from the anxiety I hold around saying "no" to things I can’t or don't want to do and the fear of rejection that hinders me from asking even my closest friends if they'd like to spend time with me.
This application allows me to set clear boundaries of when I am truly available and what I am willing to do, as well as throw out soft nudges that I want to see my friends without directly saying so. The absenses of a contact field implies that if I don't know how to contact you, I most likely don't want to hang out.
[[ NOTE: I do not expect any of my friends to actually use this. Although still too shy to be straightforward, I have progressed to starting conversations by sending memes and then telling people I miss them. And most know what settings or activities cause me to feel discomfort. ]]

EDITS:
- Swapped out the large O-ring keeper (poor function) for two tighter rectangular ones
- Repainted the raw edges black (primary blue looked weird)
This marks the completion of what I originally planned for! I’m happy with how it turned out, but now I want to make more accessories and attachment points for things like my phone, keys, pepper spray, soup thermos, etc :•)
