@lilatirandoavioleta presents a strong back catalogue - releases on labels like @hyperdubrecords , @newmotionlabel , @activiabenz , and @n_a_a_f_i - with collaborations alongside Loraine James, Amnesia Scanner, and Nick León among others.
Now based in Ireland, Lila is literally following the sound of our manu back south to Aotearoa.
Lila Tirando a Violeta’s latest album ‘Dream of Snakes’, on Berlin’s @unguarded_____ , and her recent ambient EP ‘Obsidian Within’ both showcase her keen sensitivity to environmental elements - summoning up new atmospheres with her tino āmiki sound design. These most recent releases range across pensive, ririki moments to super kinetic, post-punky hard dance works.
