Persistence & Diligence! ❤️ There’s truly NOTHING that God won’t allow me to have if I simply stay the course & have faith (along w/ putting in WORK)! - I remember during the rehearsals for All American: S2 Ep10 (Go watch that 😎) sitting on the step talking to Rhapsody saying “I need to be on this show Rhap, like I want a speaking role”. She looked at me & saw that I was dead serious and told me to get to work! (IYKYK) - Fast forward to March 2021 - @rhapsodyjames & @alldaynicco called me about doing the pilot episode for All American: HOMECOMING! As bad as I wanted to participate, the timing just wasn’t right for me & where I was currently. I prayed about it and told myself that if this something God wants me to be apart of he’ll make it happen again! - End of 2021: I get a phone call from Rhapsody telling me about an opportunity to do a self tape for the role of a girl named Giselle on ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING. After recording so many vids I decided on a solid video to send in….A day later….I booked it! 😭😭😭🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️💨💨💨 - YA GIRL BOOKED HER FIRST SPEAKING ROLE!!!! Aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! I literally manifested this!!!!! This is soooo major to me man!! Honestly at this point there’s nothing that I can’t do but most importantly there’s nothing that GOD can’t & won’t do for me!! I’m just speechless! The growth, the confidence, and HEART you ladies display is amazing to witness. ❤️⚙️🖤 Not to get EMO lol but I’m just so proud of them! My heart is so full. All glory be to God! 🖤✨ I’m beyond proud of this team ! ( @motorcitydancefactory + @mcdfcompteam ) not just for the wins, but for the individuals you are becoming. I’ve witnessed the early mornings, the frustration, the moments when you could’ve given less… and you didn’t. You showed up. You locked in. You believed. What you put on that stage this weekend was EARNED!!! 💪🏾 Blood, sweat, and tears! Hear me when I say this….the trophies are beautiful, YES……but the growth, the discipline, the maturity, and the HEART you all showed? That’s what makes me the proudest. What an honor it is to be your Hip Hop teacher. You trusted me. You trusted each other. And you rose to the occasion. Watching you step into your power this season has been such a privilege and I don’t take it lightly. If no one else tells you, just know that Ms. De’Lisha is so, so proud of you. And the scary part? Where do I even begin? First and foremost, thank you, God! You always show up and show out for little ol’ me, and I’m forever grateful. This Thanksgiving truly hits differently. It’s the first one without Grandma and Opa, and I’m holding onto so much gratitude in their honor.
