There’s bedroom DJ’s and then there’s bathroom DJ’s ;)
It’s wild to think that only a few years ago I started djing again, solely to relieve Sophie from long haul sets in hot sweaty rooms. From there, I started messing around and posting random live mashups and mixes, becoming more and more addicted.
To my surprise- I started getting solo bookings and freaking out because that was never my intention lol
My first few solo gigs were on platforms that I most definitely did not think I was ready for.
Gay Gardens, Euphoria, a closing party for Fashion Art Toronto week, for me my sets felt clunky af and my selections felt disjointed as much I thought I was curating. This has been such a funny journey, a huge thank you to the people who decided to take a chance on me and helped me find some footing 🫶🏽
Snack House reached out to me after mocking up the poster for the event and asked me if I wanted to put my name on the line up…and well, yes ✨
A month from today, I feel honored to get to play at one of Toronto’s iconic venues CODA and close for a DJ/Producer I admire, I couldn’t be more excited 🥹
The journey continues and I hope to see ya’ll there ✌🏽
