The gift of creativity has been holding me through all of my emotions, dimensions and shifts.
Happy to now consolidate all of this labor of love into a new digital home. Please remember that the fruits of your labor mean something. denzel-boyd.com —— a new home, a new era of creative preservation.

Studio doors open.
I’ll be part of Yale Open Studios this weekend while Tender Hell (Yale Graphic Design MFA Thesis Show) circulates alongside—two overlapping spaces, two different temperatures of the same ongoing work.
Come through, spend time, move between.

Tender Hell
April 9–17, 2026
Reception: April 17, 6–8PM
Green Hall Gallery, 1156 Chapel St.
Tender Hell presents the culminating thesis work of the Yale Graphic Design MFA Class of 2026. The exhibition maps a diverse set of practices, reflecting on design’s circulation—through labor, care, service, and power—and the tensions it carries.
Printed materials by each participant circulate alongside the gallery work, extending these questions beyond the walls.
Guided by primary thesis advisors Nontsikelelo Mutiti @nontsimutiti , Andrew Wash Lister @a___w___l , Julian Bittiner @julian_bittiner , and Tiri Kananuruk @ngonngontiri
Visual identity by Heejae, Xiwen, Hasti, and Denzel

Outreach poster for the Yale Norfolk School of Art summer session. This year's theme, "Direction of Play," is inspired by the game of Go and the writings of Kajiwara. His theory highlights the significance of individual stones and their relationships, much like how each artist brings their unique perspective to the table.
Don’t miss the opening reception for the Yale MFA Black Art showing today May 16th at 6 and closing May 23rd.✨
