Yamila, a Milan-based artist originally from Argentina, crafts a unique sonic identity shaped by tribal rhythms, synth-laden rock, and ethereal electronic textures. Her background in choral music gives her sets a distinct vocal presence, a voice that flows seamlessly through the dancefloor experience.
After immersing herself in Berlin’s underground scene for five years, she returned to Italy with a deeply emotional approach to music, emerging as both a DJ and a driving force behind events.
Since 2021, she has held a residency at Closer, a cornerstone for inclusive, immersive club culture, performing at spaces like Masada and Amelia, and collaborating with collectives such as Bassiani, Vault Sessions, and Meat Free. Her sets fuse pulsing drums, soaring grooves, and emotional intensity, weaving soundscapes that resonate as much with the heart as with the body.
As always, we love to shine a light on fresh local talent and this time, the spotlight is on ‘Cheap’.
A true listener and passionate connoisseur of the local techno scene, he’s as sharp behind the decks as he is with vinyl, modulars, and sequencers. Expect deep vibes and raw energy: he’s warming up the floor before our fiery Italo-Argentinian takes over. 🇮🇹🇦🇷
