Residency announcement: A pleasure as always to welcome him back in the Kitchen and confirm our second resident for the following season! DMC, born and raised in Liverpool, is no stranger to the decks or the dance floor in 24 K St. A lover of all things music and now currently living in the South of England, it is great to keep the connection and love of the city he has alive while furthering his residencies there alongside the long-term local party, Social Hours. For a very long time, DMC has been collecting records of all calibres and genres with no boundaries, which proves a “you never know what you will get” kind of attitude toward any DJ set of his for the listener. Electronic music runs thick through DMC’s bones, first taking inspiration from trance and house music in the early 2000s, while also discovering instruments, playing live with other musicians, and digging deep into music as a whole learning and being inspired along the way. Releasing records over the years on labels such as Art of Dark and holding it down many a time for the party behind the decks too, we know we are in good hands. Today, you will find a maturing and ever developing sound from DMC when he takes to the decks. Whether taking an empty room warm up set from zero to one hundred as it fills, or taking over the room at a peak-time closing set to end the night, you can count on a bag full of records that will take the listener on a journey through different realms and areas of music worldwide across different decades.
