On 8th May, along with Michelle and Bunney, we have a rare 3-hour closing set from residents Alex Galloway and Birrell. The pair are meticulous diggers and skilled DJs in their own right, but always bring a little extra out of each other when playing back to back.
Alex and Ed have sculpted the sound of 199 from the very beginning. Their sets are adventurous yet consistent, circling the acid-y outskirts of techno and electro and pulling from a range of eras and influences. Often trusted with opening our nights at Gaffe, the pair have a rare chance to go full tilt from 3 until 6 next Friday.

A longtime friend of 199, Bunney has steadily risen to become a prolific figure on the London circuit and beyond, and has been a favourite of ours for years. The Triskl founder has always struck a tasteful balance between experimentation and dancefloor focus, delivered with rare restraint and care.
She will be opening Gaffe for us on the 8th with a two hour set, setting the tone with wiggling, textural minimal techno and electro. Head to RA to grab your second release ticket now!

With now just one month to go until our final party before the summer, here’s a taste of what to expect from Michelle on 8th May at Gaffe.
Michelle is a live-only performer, meaning everything you hear is created by her in the studio, and woven together on the spot using controllers and sequencers. A regular performer at Houghton, fabric, Womb, Watergate, and of course her native Phonotheque in Uruguay, she frequently soundtracks the world’s top parties and it’s easy to hear why.
Her raw, emotive sound is a unique blend of electronic and acoustic elements, often leaning into UK club sounds through breakbeats and classic samples.
Trust us when we tell you this will be a real spectacle inside the newly-revamped Gaffe in North London. Tickets are moving quickly!

Born in Uruguay and raised among one of South America’s most influential underground movements, Michelle is known for immersive live-only performances that sound completely unique.
