J’ai acheté mon premier polaroid il y a bientôt 10 ans et il ne m’a jamais quitté.
En voyage aux quatre coins du monde ou simplement en soirée entre amis, j’ai toujours aimé pouvoir immortaliser des fragments de vie avec toutes les imperfections qui les accompagnent, souvent un peu flous ou surexposés. Cette manière de figer un instant en le rendant unique m’a toujours passionné.
A l’heure du numérique où l’on prend 400, 500 photos par shoot, une photo matérialisée que l’on peut tenir, offrir ou accrocher sur un mur a comme un devoir de mémoire. Un souvenir sans filtre, sans retour en arrière, avec toute son histoire.
C’est de ma rencontre avec @raphael.chene , qui partage cet amour de l’instant, qu’est née l’envie de créer cette page.

90 sec is an attempt to slow down in a world flooded with images. It’s a way to return to a more intentional and artistic form of photography - one that gives space to the subject, and value to the moment.
Ultimately @__90sec project is a way of documenting the music scene differently : by capturing the artists not on stage, but beyond it, in the aftermath of their performance, in moments of quiet, connection and truth.

I started taking my first Polaroids over a year ago at a festival. The project began with a realization : the overabundance of images in my practice, forcing me to produce thousands of images per event to only keep a few meaningful ones.
This page is born from my meeting with @jcr_paris , who shares the same love for capturing the moment.
90 sec is about sharing images and fleeting moments, taken in places that matter to us.
90 seconds — that’s how long it takes for the image to appear. The time it takes for a fragment of life to be fixed forever.
