I can’t believe I’m writing this, but 26ers is no more. I guess all good things must come to an end. It was truly an amazing season with so many great players, and I was really looking forward to what the next season would bring. Sadly, things have taken a different turn.
I’ll forever be grateful for the opportunity given to me by @johnterry.26 and @jodymorris , and I want to thank the players as well for believing in me. I gave it my all and genuinely enjoyed every moment. But I guess it’s time to move on.
Thank you @ballerleagueuk for this opportunity and what a season it has been , gutted that we put in so much hardwork as a team to have this outcome, the boys deserved much more but everything happens for a reason, it’s been a privilege and a dream to be in a team with Chelsea legends @johnterry.26@jodymorris@petrcech 🙏🙏
Bitter sweet to not pass the final hurdle but all the work wasn’t in vain for my family and friends I’ll do it all again next time we will go all the way thank you @ballerleagueuk another amazing season
An incredible 11 week journey in the Baller League. I gave everything in every match and enjoyed every moment. I came to live up to the expectations that come with my name in the footballing world so it was personal to me😤Huge respect to my teammates who were brilliant and we grew into a real family throughout the season. It’s a shame we didn’t reach the final I thought we deserved more but it’s life we will learn from it . I know I got injured towards the end but that just makes it exciting for my return in season 3 . Trust me this season I was just warming up , next season I’ll be even better. Thank you to those who met along the way and also supported me. The solider will be back ✊🏿
This time last year I was spiralling. Came back from playing in Australia & back into the non league abyss with no joy for the game and the love of it completely gone. I never thought I’d be playing for a premier league legend that I grew up watching every week, Uncle @wrightyofficial calling me ‘absolute quality’, playing with the all time record holder of clean sheets in the prem and somehow becoming the all time top goalscorer for @ballerleagueuk 🤯 loved every second being a part of this special team, it hurts not being a part of that final four but the comeback is most certainly loading 🫡💙 @_26ers
What an experience these past 11 weeks have been. It’s been a privilege to be a part of this @_26ers team. I’m devastated that we fell at the final hurdle but I’m proud of the progress that’s been made along the way. There’s still so much more to come from this group. We will be back next season better and stronger than ever InshaAllah 💙
