This one’s from a project I did for @maisonkoumba (they make really cool clothes btw). I picked one of their log footages and decided to color it just for fun—and to get better at this whole color grading thing.
I’ll be doing one video at a time, so if you have any log footage you’re not using, send it my way!
I’d love to play with it and keep this series going.

Everybody’s running to DaVinci Resolve for color grading, and yeah—it’s really good. I even started learning it this year.
But let me be real, I still don’t fully get it yet. I’m learning bit by bit.
While I’m figuring it out, I’m using CapCut on my laptop to try and get the same kind of look.
What I’m trying to say is…
You probably have tools already that you haven’t learned well, but you’re jumping to the next “easy” thing because everyone says it’s better.
Slow down. Stay with what you have. Learn it. Make it work.
