self luv is the glue holding my hands to the crown of my head in efforts to stop the noose from adorning my neck. the sweat that drips from my brow to the floor, causing me to slip and stifle my chase of death. the things my body does to save me, because it knows something i do not. that i am actually capable of truly living. and so for me, self luv is all the things i leave half done. because if there is more finishing to do, i must live to see another day. self luv is magic. all the tricks i play in the mirror. masterful illusions of survival instincts i was born without.
