On the occasion of @154artfair Marrakech-born artists Salaheddine El Bouaaichi @Salaheddine.elbouaaichi and Yassine Sellame @yassellame open their exhibition at Riad Alena (RAAR). The new series of photographs explore the subcultures that form around wheels in the city of Marrakech. What might appear as mundane means of transport to passers-by are taken as a choreography of urban life.
The exhibition opening will see the launch of a photography Zine, produced by the artists as well as live screenprinting by @95lab.lostfiles
Extending the exhibition beyond the gallery walls, @_re_routing_ collaborates with the artists to bring the works in-situ and in-motion. From the exhibition, we will walk through the Medina on to @le18marrakech , where the photos were developed. Along the way, the living cultures of wheels are presented, with the artists sharing more about the subcultures that inspire their work. The walk ends with a lunch on the rooftop of @riad_alena_marrakech

RESURGE is our statement, our way of coming back louder.
