One skate camp ends, and another begins! Last week, we hosted a park intensive skate camp. This week, weâve got street skaters in town, crushing their tricks and getting feedback and tips from coaches @maddy_balt and @etienne.trudeau .
The gals at this camp are preparing for an upcoming competition in Seattle and are working hard on their trick sets. The crew will head down to the comp together once camp ends. Good luck, ladies!
Itâs tri season! Last weekend, local athlete @liamdonnellytri won the elite menâs category of the 2026 Asia Triathlon Cup Subic Bay, and @jamieharkerr placed 20th in the elite womenâs field. Congrats you two!
@sunnieleishman_ placed 25th in the junior elite womenâs category at the 2026 USAT Triathlon Richmond Virginia and @siahjo11 won the menâs overall sprint at the 3026 Cherry Blossom Triathlon Kelowna. A great start to the VTC season!

Featured flicks: some of our enduro riders from a recent camp!
Still thinking about the UCI Pacific XC mountain bike races the other weekend đźâđš
April is shaping up to be a massive month for mountain biking here at 94 Forward. Weâre kicking things off with an XCO camp, an enduro camp, and visits from some XC and gravity pros - and thatâs just the start. Itâs going to be one exciting spring!
Itâs race day! Victoria athlete @maia.watson is ready to take on the Oceanside 70.3! Todayâs field is stacked, but we know Maia is ready to go head-to-head with some of the best pros around.
Maia filled us in:
âIRONMAN 70.3 Dallas-Little Elm was a good rust buster. I made some nutrition mistakes and it took a moment to remember how to ride 90km at threshold. I was sick, but I have recovered well and look forward to racing Oceanside healthy!â
Good luck today, Maia!
Fellow Victoria-based triathlete @bmantriathlon was also looking forward to competing at Oceanside, but had to withdraw due to illness.
The Victoria Triathlon Collective was in Haikou, China this past weekend to put their winter builds to the test. @sophiagracehowell and @martin.sobey raced in the elite categories of the World Triathlon Cup and placed 18th and 14th, respectively.
Whatâs next for the collective? Thereâs a break in racing until late April, but @emmabean_jean , @aiden_l_h and @henrybristol are all competing this weekend at the Gulfport Americas Cup Race in Mississippi. Good luck, crew!
Shout-out to our camper from Collingwood, ON, @julia.h.lehmann , for snagging gold in both the XCC and XCO races at last weekendâs Canada Cup in Langford!
Keep an eye out for these swim caps at Commonwealth!
Our Victoria Triathlon Collective takes over the pool a few times each week. This group of dedicated local triathletes work together to maximize local resources and facilities. They support one another as they each train towards their own unique goals.
Bowl action with @zoe_zollinger_
We are constantly amazed by our skatersâ âone more runâ mentality. They fall, they get back up, they try again - endlessly. They donât give up, and even when they land the trick, itâs not enough. Theyâll keep practicing until itâs second nature. Incredibly inspiring!
