Building lasting godly legacy Through the Children ministry
Introduction
Legacy is about life and living. It is not what you live for the next generation. Rather it is what you leave in the lives of the next generation. It is about learning from the past, living in the present, and building for the future. A legacy is the imprint your level on the future. We all have legacies that we would leave, by either default or design.
To build is to create, or develop something, guiding and giving direction. Building a legacy means written something and during that can be passed on. It is lasting when is truly outlast the owner.
Here, we are talking about GODLY LEGACY. The next generation we enjoy god glory long after we have gone, when godliness and the fear of God are instilled in them. Hence, the relevance of the children ministry is the issue on ground.
The radiant morn hath pass'd away And spent too soon her golden store' The shadows of departing day Creep on once more. Our life is but an autumn day. Its glorious noon how quickly past; Lead us,O Christ, Thou living Way, Safe home at last.
O by Thy soul-inspiring grace Uplift our hearts to realms on high; Help us to look to that bright place Beyond the sky.
Where light, and life, and joy, and peace In undivided empire reign, And thronging angels never cease Their deathless strain; Where saints are cloth'd in spotless white And ev'ning shadows never fall; Where Thou, eternal light of Light, Art Lord of all.
