Fresh build for @iamchrisyoung with a ~24 hour turnaround time right before tour rehearsals. Super slick and lightweight thanks to the new Helix Stadium from Line 6 and the Creation Aero board. Will fit neatly in a foamed out Pelican 1615. Both the El Capistan and Cali76 Stacked are in the loops of the Helix, the former in full stereo. All connections were given plenty of slack and mounted to allow for on-the-road servicing. Had a lot fun with this one!
Happy to reveal my first official “product”: the DB37 GPI HUB. Allows you to take full advantage of the GPI section of any DB37 equipped DiGiCo mixing console (all current consoles minus the Q225, SD8, SD9, and SD11) for expanded macro use. The idea is to put the unit in whatever rack you I/O occupies and patch lines from your stage snakes into the back of the unit, allowing a Boss FS-6 footswitch to handle two GPI functions down a single XLR line as far downstream as you need. From there you patch in any generic DB37 cable from the unit into your console and you’re off!
Third slide is the first unit out in the wild with @michaelleckrone of @turnpiketroubadours . Building these to order now, with a 6-8 week lead time (fluctuating due to my touring schedule).

One of my favorite tools in my rig is my GPI hub built for me by my friends @robertbraz at @8trackcustomaudio
It allows me to incorporate foot switches (Boss FS-U for single function or Boss FS-6 for two functions down a single XLR) anywhere on my stage to fire macros via GPI.
The hub lives patched in my rack and the only connection that needs to be made is a single DB37 cable
Rob built this for me as a 1st of hopefully many and it works great and the build quality is incredible, and he is now building more

Another board finished for Kevin with @russelldickerson . This is either the 3rd or 4th rig I’ve built for Kev, and we both agreed that it’s our favorite iteration. Clean DI and HX Stomp outputs with midi and redundant RF and 1/4” inputs in a small, light package.
Compact stereo amp board on the bench today. These two sound so good together. Impressed as always with @pinstripepedals build and audio quality. Power courtesy of a Strymon Ojai underneath.
A board I originally built in 2020 and updated earlier this year came in for some much needed TLC this week. Riding in a bus trailer over the last month or so really did a number on it, but I got it up and running again with a quick turnaround time.
Catch some killer tones from @iamchrisyoung playing through this board on the road with @russelldickerson .
Thanks for always trusting me with your builds 🫡.
Had some shirts printed for the heck of it, small logo with no text on the front and large logo on the back. Printed on Gildan Ultra Cotton black T’s.
If anyone is interested they will be made to order and I’ll sell them to you for my cost + shipping.
8 channel XLR snake completed this morning, as always made with the best; Mogami cable and Neutrik connectors. DM me for all of your custom cable needs!
Fresh turnkey IEM system for @whitsettband . Playback, mixer, and 4 stereo IEM mixes weighing in just under 70lbs. 16 channel analog split courtesy of @btpa_usa provides an easy way to give independent control to front of house.
Ryan and I sat down and made a video talking about the rig, which will be out soon.
I have some sporadic free time over the next few months, hit me with your projects large and small!
(Side note: Sennheiser’s rack mounting infrastructure kind of sucks, look at the sag on that antenna combiner!)
Simple Clear-Com split cable I built recently for @elrod_luke . It allows LD’s to combine their COM and IEM signals using a small analog mixer to eliminate the need to use two sets of headphones at once.
