VIP package will include: floor access during the show with VIP bar on the floor, cowboy meet and greet on the dirt at a TBD time before the show, VIP lanyard.

For those that have been around a few years you know I started the rodeo when my friend Ouncie Mitchell was killed from what I account to a lack of funds to full time rodeo safely. Year 1, because of your support and sold out show we put $60,000 in the pockets of rodeo athletes. Year 2 that increased to $75,000 when we stopped charging rodeo fees and started paying athletes an appearance fee to compete. This year, Year 3, we added a second show, and because of the support this event has received from all y'all's, we gave rodeo athletes $150,000.
I am grateful for every ticket sold, every hoodie copped, every friend you told to come to the show, every tag, every message, every everything 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Year 2 in Portland nothing seemed to be going right. The show was being held together with duct tape and I was running around doing 1000 jobs. Sitting at the announcers table, stressed out, I heard a voice behind me "Oh, he's too cool to dance. He got a full time job..." X was leading the dad's dance contest and the crowd was roaring as she gently hazed their moves. I watched her work and started laughing, the weight of the event lifted and I began having fun. She has become the heartbeat of the show keeping the energy up and bringing a brand of comedy and hilarity that only she can. @80dollarsandasuitcase will be going off in Philly as our host. Without our sponsors and without a full arena sell out, this event would simply not be possible, I love that you all love this as much as I do. I've never taken a dime from the rodeo in three years, and I work on it every single day, after my day job and on the weekends. This is an act of faith every year, and every year, y'all make sure I can pay the vendors and more importantly pay out over $60,000 in prize money to the athletes. This year, instead running this rodeo like every other rodeo in the country, where athletes pay to compete for the the prize, we are paying every athlete an appearance fee for showing up and laying it all on the line. That means on June 15th, we will be putting well over $70,000 in the hands of athletes, this is my motivation, this is how I know I'm completing my mission to elevate and highlight those around me.

Less than 60 days out from Portland, and Philadelphia is just around the corner after that. Few updates/notes for everyone:
1. Both events will have community, vendor, food, mechanical bull and other activities before the rodeo (3-7p) like usual. Rodeo starts at 7p and will end with a dance party on the dirt.
2.The vendor applications for Portland retail and Portland food vendors are in my bio. PHL vendor/food applications will be out in June.
3. Portland event is 75% sold out - if you're not buying your tickets on @ticketmaster then you're buying resale. If you Google 8 Seconds Ticketmaster, the first few links are resale sites, pay close attention to get tickets at cost. Clickable link to tickets in my bio.
4. Philadelphia event is also on Ticketmaster only, we haven't started advertising in PHL, but once we do I know the seats will go quick, so if you're reading this, do yourself and your friends a favor and get your tickets now, before you have to sit apart/buy resale.
