굴지의 실험음악 레이블 PAN 소속으로, 특유의 거칠지만, 섬세한 에너지를 다양한 방식으로 풀어내며 유럽을 중심으로 전 세계에 영향을 끼쳐온 아티스트 판다이징이 처음으로 서울을 찾습니다. 중국 구이양 출신의 판 다이징은 현재 베를린을 베이스로 퍼포먼스 아트, 프로듀싱 등으로 다양한 활동을 이어오고 있습니다. 그녀의 작업은 여러 형태로 진행됩니다. 퍼포먼스, 인스톨레이션, 영화, 무용 그리고 시 등을 통해 다양한 이야기를 전달합니다. 그녀의 작품은 감정적으로 솔직하며, 사운드와 미학적 폭발성이 중요한 역할을 합니다. 시적이면서도 두려움이 가득한 공연은 권력과 취약성의 상호작용을 미학적으로 엮어냄으로써, 심리적 상태를 탐구합니다. 적극적인 반주, 공간적 상호작용, 그리고 관객들과 높은 개인적 상호작용을 활용합니다. PAN 레이블에서 발매된 'Lack', 'Jade', 'Tissues' 등 세 장의 앨범으로 각종 매체에서 큰 호평을 받았습니다.
Pan Daijing is an artist, composer and musician from Guiyang who is currently based in Berlin. Her raw approach tells stories in many forms: performances, installations, films, dance and poetry. Soul-baring utterances and sonic, aesthetic outbursts are the main tendons of her practice. Frequently invoking improvisation, spatial interactions and a highly personal engagement with spectators, her poetic and haunting performances interweave vehicles of power and vulnerability to explore psychological states. Pan Daijing’s music has been called ritualistic, unnerving, energetic and abrasive. She’s released three acclaimed albums Lack, Jade and Tissues on label PAN.
