Grateful to everyone who joined us for the 4th Annual
@woodyartcollection Black Art Collector Salon & Wine Social this past weekend in Washington, D.C.
What began as a small gathering to celebrate and support Black artists has grown into a thoughtful and affirming space for collectors, curators, and cultural stewards to build community and share ideas.
This year’s conversation was especially meaningful, featuring an incredible panel:
@urbanhipsta – a multidisciplinary visual artist and muralist whose work explores surrender, transformation, and the complexities of identity.
@willallenwaf – Partner at Margarc Venture Partners (MVP), non-profit founder, and passionate patron of African American art who brings a leadership lens to cultural investment.
@arensley – political strategist and collector whose approach to contemporary art is deeply rooted in narrative, community uplift, and cultural preservation.
Special thanks to our event planner Chantal Stephenson of
@irisemgt and Photographer Ash Givens of
@87_frames for capturing this energetic and soulful gathering.
Thank you to all who attended, shared, and contributed to the energy of the day. I’m proud of the growing ecosystem of Black collectors and creatives shaping the future of the arts.
