RaceTreads.com is currently transitioning all retail-facing activity over to Tire Agent. That means anything customer-facing (purchasing, product catalog, etc.) will live under Tire Agent moving forward. That said, Race Treads Motorsports LLC is still very much active as the motorsports and trackside operations arm. For the 86 Challenge specifically, Tire Agent is building out a dedicated racer portal where drivers will be able to: * Log in to a private program page * Easily place orders for the series * Access custom pricing/discounts specific to the program This should make the process a lot cleaner and more streamlined for everyone compared to how it’s worked in the past. @tireagentmotorsports

Around the paddock in Round 1 of @86challenge 2026. Fist time I ran the new spec V601 tires for Stock and Street class. They reward drivers who can immediately get on the pace, which is a challenge for me, as I typically build up to the pace over a session. Round 1 of the 2026 kicks off tomorrow at Thunderhill East, where competitors will be tackling the tricky Cyclone configuration for the first time in over three years. 86 Challenge is back for 2026, and we are proud to introduce our new official tire partner, @yokohamatire ! Through Yokohama and our continuing partnership with @racetreads , competitors in Stock and Street classes will be utilizing the Yokohama ADVAN Apex V601 as the spec tire. In Touring and Unlimited, we expect to see competitors adopt Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD09 and Yokohama ADVAN A052. For all the details, see the News tab on 86challenge.us and check out the 2026 rules.

Our pre-summer, beat-the-heat series of 3 events in 5 weekends continues at Laguna Seca this weekend.
