How is this even my life?!
Tonight I walked the red carpet at the Natural History Museum in London for the global premiere of Pole to Pole with Will Smith - cameras, lights, @willsmith , the @natgeotv and @nutopiatv teams, all here to watch our journey on a massive, massive screen. It’s insane. In the *best* possible way.
A broken ex-rugby player from Wales has no real right to expect a chapter like this. Injury ended my first dream. This second one - rebuilding in the cold, becoming a polar athlete, then helping Will reach the South Pole and tell our planet’s story - still feels wildly beyond anything I imagined.
More than anything, I feel grateful. To Will for his trust, to the production crews and experts who’ve grafted for years, to my family for holding the fort, and to all of you who’ve been cheering me on 🥹
However long this moment lasts, I’m going to try and breathe it in and enjoy it.
We’re only just getting started...
