CTRL+Z is live on

Not really my thing to overshare here, but the algorithm seems to want this out, so here we go.
CTRL+Z is a project that began in early 2025. In January, Malick (who filmed three-quarters of this video) moved in two streets away from me in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, one of the few neighbourhoods in Paris where life is still good for us skaters. The cost of living is low (€2.90 for a pint!), people are not hostile to skateboarding, and the neighbourhood is right next to Montmartre, which creates areas with relief and cobblestone banks that are great for skating.
Malick and I weren’t newbies to each other, but we hadn’t filmed together before. His move inspired us to explore the neighbourhood. At that time, he had just finished three years of work-study at Vega Skateshop and I was pursuing a master’s degree in political sciences, leaving me enough time to go out and skate. From then on, we started stacking clips at all the weird spots in the 18th arrondissement, then in the rest of Paris. We also took the opportunity to film in Nantes, a city on the border of Brittany where I grew up. Finally, we end up in Marseille, a city where we are stranded every summer and where, between jumping off the rocks at Petit Nice and drinking beer in the sun at La Plaine, we sometimes succeed to film a clip or two... Last but not least, all the people you see in the clips are very good friends of ours, but since our whole team (and we don’t blame them) prefers to go out rather than film stuff, it was easier to show them smiling than doing their tricks on a board.
This project is a big part of who we are. So if u made it so far, I would like to express my gratitude for those who helped us in one way or another to make this video happen : long-time friends, one-night encounters.
Things get better, keep smiling , it’ll be worth it.
