Preparing this routine in 8 weeks was the hardest thing we’ve ever done. It took a lot of sacrifice, and it truly wouldn’t have happened without these incredible people:
@jt_swing — our coaches, mentors, and biggest inspirations. Your choreography pushed us to the absolute edge of our abilities. Thank you for taking a chance on a song we believed in (one Taylor has been singing since she was 5 😆). So many times we walked into our sessions convinced there was no way we’d be ready, and every single time we walked out re-energized and determined. From teaching us our very first push break (online, haha) to now, these past few years have meant everything to us.
@victoriahenk — we are endlessly grateful for your friendship, insight, and support. Your ability to make things functionally efficient helped us improve our execution and we don’t know what we would’ve done without you to guide us through endless questions with our first ever routine - also bonus you’re good at hair too ;) Next time, let’s start much earlier (and maybe hit full runs more than 6 days before The Open 😅).
@danscene1 - thank you for letting us basically live at the studio these past few weeks. We’re grateful for the time, space, and care you provide to dancers and this community.
And to everyone who supported us along the way and cheered us on in that ballroom — thank you. We’re so grateful for the chance to perform again after our mistake in prelims. Finals was everything we dreamed of and more, and we can honestly say we left every last ounce of ourselves on that floor.
