PRESENTING: Year 3 Book, the first printed work by the artist duo JuiceQ Do. This book gives a nonlinear, kaleidoscopic overview of their dynamic interdisciplinary collaboration. As its subtitle—ant, cat, book, hand, clock, cat, leaf—suggests, certain images and techniques are reiterated and reinterpreted constantly; the medium, characters, and reference points all highly reactive yet ever ambiguous in meaning. There is an immediate, elemental poetry to each work.
The mode of working is fluid throughout the book, moving quickly between physical and digital; sculptures made of glass, wax, and paper; comics, drawings, fragments of imagery; 3D renders and more. This comprehensive, 195-page (!) anthology is standard A5 paperback size, offset printed cover-to-cover in rich technicolor, and features lie-flat binding. We are very proud to share this book with you and have been waiting a long time to do so. Enjoy! Purchase through our website (link in bio).
Throwback to the week of living in Shanghai office building with the bros and kids this past January. Cold and dirty and uncomfortable af but still it was the most lovely place on earth. Last season of “Teenagers vs Office”. After this I packed up Temporary Park and closed it indefinitely after 4 years. Much much much more to share later. @temporarypark forever 💚

One night this spring I cried to Adrian and Matt about being afraid of drawing. Few days later I walked to my studio desk seeing a boogie af sketchpad with my name written on it in Adrian font and cried again (for context I don’t usually cry). All the drawings from the last few posts came from this.
Most drawings in this sketchpad were made under 15 minutes and often sitting in bed passing the fuck out(I learned to do this from Adrian), but some of my favorite time this year came from drawing with friends or by myself in it.
Also this is our 5th year drawing with each other. Although it a small act that gets surprisingly emotionally challenging I think I will never get bored of it. Drawing is fun and us drawing together is SO fun.
