Brussels-based artist Catherine Danger experiments in her music and videos with a
multitude of textures dedicated to being altered or modified. In 2022, she released a cassette
on the Simple Music Experience label, Roto Rites Dub, 40 minutes of slow, psychedelic
waves in the Illbient style.
Two years later, she released Waiting Music For Stoned People on Bordeaux label
Scolopendre, a gentle emotional spitfire transposed into reinjected melodies, glitchy
samples, muffled bass and modified vocals. The associated tracks thus form a tormented
SF(eminist) narrative, out of patriarchal time.
In 2018, she set up an audiovisual label, 2files4free, with Daya Hallé, a label focused on
combining sound and visual production, through a multiplicity of hybrid projects.

So hyped to have teamed up with Brussels party outfit @global_folk to bring the voodoo priest of Berlin’s music scene @chris.imler over for his debut Glasgow live performance at the Flying Duck on Saturday night, alongside Kiosk and Lyl Radio residents @clyde.arcalis and @6ouren , who will be bringing their psych and punk vibe to Glasgow straight from Brussels together with Dayahuasca’s heavy beats and jazz drumbreaks, all to stellar live visuals by @_beckysparks 🐬
Warming up for the big one on Saturday with a wee bar takeover at @third_eye_bar tomorrow night too with the crew and pals from 9-1. Free entry on Friday night with £5 tickets for Saturday on RA or £7 otd 🦑
