Total weight reduction- 500+ lbs.
6 weeks until I crash GSMTR 35 with my WK2. I’m putting her on a diet and swapping out a bunch of parts for one-off lighter versions. Also taking the opportunity to sand her down and give her a top coat of bedliner.
Wrapped up this all aluminum low profile rack last night. Dedicated for my maxtrax, a rotopax, a weboost antenna, and my train horns. The rack without accessories weighs in at 12.8 lbs! Pretty excited to see this transformation project happen over the next few weeks!
I’ll be posting used parts for sale over the duration. It’s a great opportunity to catch a deal, and have a bit of a diy project to clean them up & recoat them. Most items I will ship, but a few will have to be picked up (like the full size roof rack with lights, harness, shovel/axe holder, jack mounts, weboost mount, & side ladder). I just don’t want to spend the time breaking it down.
