• [SOLD] 2004 puma nuala merca: black/ashwood • INFO: i'm unsure if these were meant to serve as a flagship model for christy turlington's yoga range under puma, but damn are they pretty. bentwood lamination seems to be a motif for this brand's luxury products throughout the single-digit aughts, used for luggage, footwear, clutches and more (more on that later.) this model borrows its aesthetics from the traditional & ceremonial wooden footwear donned by yogis & meditators throughout the continent of asia. it's honestly difficult to nail down to one specific style, but from my perspective, these exist as a mash-up between indian paduka, japanese setta, and vietnamese guốc mộc information on these is sparse. to be honest, i didn't know this shoe existed at all until they basically fell into my lap. • SIZING: tagged men's size US9, fits women's sizes US10.5-US11 (27cm) • CONDITION: fully intact with some small marks in the suede, and some flaws along the edges of the footbed platforms, specifically near the heels & toes. in great shape overall for being 25 years old. HANDLE & WEAR WITH CARE due to age and materials.. • FEATURES: pig suede forefoot bands with elastic side gores. laminated 5-ply bentwood footbeds. carbon rubber sheet outsoles. made in china. • available now on the website, linktree in bio 🕺🏾

• [SOLD] custom dyed 2004 nike country plate buckle belt: black & polished silver • if i'm being completely honest, this post has been sitting in my drafts collecting dust. oops. regardless, here is (was) the one & only black @nike country belt in the world - that is, until the swoosh brand reissues these in a trio of new colors later on this summer/autumn. definitely not what i had expected from them this year, but it's wild how the world works. • as i stated before, these belts serve no athletic purpose whatsoever. what this belt is, though, is a celebration & tribute to the brand's cross-country roots and the rugged wilds of the PNW that served as both a refuge & a natural athletics testing facility. looking closely, you can examine the detailed & shaded depictions of the oregonian wilderness and its iconic landmarks, cradled neatly between fruiting plumes of black oak foliage. miniature nike cortezes on the rear side of the buckle are structual, and serve as the prong & bar holder. • upon their original release, these belts were distributed throughout select luxury department stores & tier-0 boutique retailers. while researching these in the past, i was able to find that not only was there a gold-tone version (which i've also featured here,) but that there was a laser-engraved wooden box for them out there, too. i'm still under the impression that it may be a one-off for an F&F sample perhaps. • i'd say stay tuned for drop updates, but since when was this that type of page? i'm usually outta the loop anyway lol. keep your eyes out for these popping up in the coming months.

- [SOLD] 1985 nike skylark high + 87-94 nike nylon mesh duffel - tagged men's size US9, fits a women's 10.5 (27cm) - replacement box & dustbags. original insoles, laces and matching duffel bag included. - features double-stitched pigskin leather uppers, open cell foam-padded nylon tongues & ankle collars, ventilated toe boxes, EVA foam insoles, and molded rubber cupsoles. cemented & machine-stitched construction. made in taiwan. - 8/10 condition: shoes are fully intact with mild creasing in the toe boxes, a black smudge on the left ankle collar, and light tread wear on the outsoles. very sturdy. collar foam is pillow soft & soles are flexible. bag is fully intact with exterior abrasions near the bottom & corners, and its interior PU coating beginning to flake near the seams. does not affect wearability, more of a nuisance than anything. please wear at your own discretion on account of age. - from the depths of the swoosh brand's expansive catalogue, i bring you the humble skylark. at the time of their release, these were a capable budget option on the court, but were never a meant to be standout sneaker: their greatest strength was to be extraordinarily ordinary. so ordinary, in fact, that the catalogue & brochure designers from '85-'86 didn't even bother to include the skylark in any of the pages. you would've just had to stumble across them at your local mom & pop shop. - this prototypical basketball sneaker hails from an era where takedown silhouettes were still built with the same level of quality & consideration as the higher-ticket flagship models, i.e. the air ship, air force 1, and air jordan 1. a great example of this would the toe box leather, which does not "crease," but forms gentle rolls similar to those that develop on well-built leather boots. - this model was shelved after only a year of production, leading me to believe there can't be very many of these floating around. i would imagine most pairs have been worn into oblivion by now. ideal for the collector. - price: $OLD! - DM to purchase: paypal, venmo, zelle, & apple pay accepted. global shipping available.

- [SOLD] 1980s adidas squad 204 airborne goatskin leather bomber: stati uniti d' america - tagged adult size medium, fits slightly large. - 8/10 condition: fully intact with visible natural patina in the underarm sleeves, wear & fading on the back graphics, small tears & discoloration on the interior lining, and paint chips/scuffs on the button snaps. in good preowned vintage condition for being roughly 45 years old - gentle wear recommended to preserve the integrity of the lining. - features a bi-tonal full grain leather exterior, 2 front slash pockets, 1 interior breast slit pocket, leather band collar, graphic 50/50 nylon-acetate lining, elasticized waist hem, & brass hardware. made in the people's republic of korea. - to say this weathered specimen is "interesting" is an understatement. it is a leather bomber jacket in an 80s-era-appropriate cut, sporting both a cartograph map of the united states & 1940s USAF fighter pilot-style graphics, from a company whose role & affiliations within that aforementioned conflict were... questionable, to keep it short & sweet. the historical context necessary to produce this jacket genuinely fascinates me. - this model apparently caught the interest of the costume designer for 1995's "baywatch nights," and it wound up being replicated in both suede & grain leather for david hasselhoff's stocky six-foot-four frame (pictured on slides 7-9). peter caruso leatherworks was commissioned for the task, with the suede version ultimately being sold at auction in 2014. i'm assuming it may have been cheaper to reproduce this model instead of buying one brand new, as it bore a nausea-inducing $2500USD suggested retail price. in the 80s. adjusted for inflation, that is roughly 9500 US dollars. - i doubt i'll come across another one of these for some time. thanks again to @chentez.threadz for the hookup!

- [SOLD] 2004 nike e-scape: washed indigo/team red - unreleased sample B - men's size 9, women's size 10.5 (27cm) - replacement box, original insoles included. sample tagged. - 8/10 condition: fully intact with sun bleaching in the fabric uppers (perhaps intentional?), a few small cracks within the TPU "midsoles," and very faint tread wear on the outsoles. unwearable, but in good preowned vintage condition for being 20 years old - ideal for collection, display, or research purposes only. please read our policies before purchasing and wear at your own discretion. - features poly-cotton textile (chambray?) uppers, dual neoprene side gores, leather liners & insoles, suede heel counter patches, heel-mounted zoom air units, & fenestrated TPU wraparound "midsoles'' that allow the solid rubber traction pods to protrude and make contact with the ground. made in thailand. - the last thing i expected was to come across another pair of these, but here we are. this version of the zvezdochka-derivative loafer is considerably heavier and more structured than the brown & green iteration i posted recently due to the addition of leather backing layers beneath all of the canvas panels. other subtle revisions i was able to note between the two include the swoosh shape & placement, insole patch materials, and the texture of the outsole pods - this example has a dimpled texture, whereas the other pair's pods are smooth. - i genuinely believe these were only manufactured as a proof of concept, since there is absolutely nothing online or on print that mentions these. being as obscure & fragile as they are, this pair & sample "A" are ideal for serious collectors. - available now on the website. link in bio.

- [SOLD] 1997 nike ACG half baked: oak/smoke - women's size 7.5, men's size 6. - no box, original laces, lace toggles & insoles included. - 9/10 condition: fully intact with minimal signs of wear on the outsoles and slight piling on the knit & fleece portions. in very good preowned vintage condition for being 27 years old. likely wearable for short periods, but do so at your own discretion on account of age. - features insulated genuine suede uppers, wool blend shafts, synthetic fleece sock liners, nylon ghillie lace loops with heel toggle adjustment, two-tone rope laces, open cell foam-backed insoles, PU foam midsoles, heel mounted nike air units, and carbon rubber cupsoles. made in china. - offered in both low & mid-top cuts, the air baked and half baked are minimalist, asymmetrical base camp booties offering cozy all-terrain comfort first as opposed to being the most hardcore hiker out of the ACG lineup. the "baked" namesake is a double entendre if you haven't noticed yet: this model's older cousin, the nike air moc, was lovingly nicknamed "the potato shoe" due to its uniformly bulbous shape & varying hues of brown suede colorways. - the way the original air baked's simplistic brown upper shrouded its beige fleece innards resembles a split baked potato, a meal familar to most whether you've been roughing it in the boonies or not. its second definition is a bit less obvious, with it referring to the effects of passing around a freshly packed bong with the team after a day out in the field. it's a little funny that the air baked is a lower cut than the half baked, when being baked would mean you felt higher rather than… lower? but the half baked is higher, or something. stoner humor, i guess. 🤷🏾‍♂️ - this ankle bootie was sold in a small handful of earthy colorways in each of its variations from 1997 to 2003, shelved for some time, rebooted in 2009 for the matagi pack with OG footscape midsole tooling, and once more in 2011 as a quickstrike release with NM midsole tooling. as it stands, these are quite rare and highly coveted by devout ACG enthusiasts & collectors. - available now on the website! link in bio.

- [SOLD] 2004 nike e-scape: baroque brown/altitude green - unreleased sample - men's size 9, women's size 10.5 (27cm) - original insoles & replacement box included. - 8/10 condition: unwearble and mostly intact with gentle ruching at the vamp, a small blemish near the vamp topline of the right shoe, cracking throughout the "midsoles" with a small gouge above the stitchline on the left shoe, and very mild tread wear on the outsoles. in gently worn preowned vintage condition for being 20 years old. ideal for collection, research or display purposes only. - features double-stitched heather twill uppers, dual neoprene side gores, leather interior liners & insoles, suede heel counter patches, heel-mounted zoom air units, & fenestrated TPU wraparound "midsoles" which allow the rubber traction pads to protrude and make contact with the ground. made in thailand. 🇹🇭 - named after the soviet dog-cosmonaut, the zvezdochka is glueless, 3-piece modular shoe heralded as a technological marvel, consisting of a rubbery monocoque shell cradling an interlocking mid/outsole unit, and a mesh interior "sock" with attached insoles fitted overtop. the 360° spherical lattice pattern utilized across their exterior is directly inspired by a species of marine zooplankton called radiolaria (slide 4), noted for their unique trait of forming complex endoskeletons from dissolved silica in the seawater around them. - based on this pair's tags, i believe it's safe to assume that this unreleased model, the e-scape, was developed as a takedown version of the zvezdochka, also sporting zoom air embedded within the insoles & a near identical mid/outsole tooling paired to a significantly milder upper. it seems like the e-scape was intended to resemble the zvezdochka's internal sock booties if they were attached only to the mid/outsole units and just the lower ⅓ of its flexible exoskeleton. - write up continued in comment section below. ⬇️

- [FOR SALE] 2000 nike air trainer swift: obsidian/heaven blue - women's size 9, men's size 7.5 (26cm) - no box, original laces & insoles included. - 7.5/10 condition: fully intact with light midsole compression, faint discoloration in the sock liners, mild outsole & TPU component oxidation, and moderate tread wear on the outsoles; in good preowned vintage condition for being 24 years old. - features synthetic leather, synthetic suede & polyester mesh uppers, flexible TPU plastic midfoot wings, polyester mesh lace loops, V-notch ankle cutouts, reinforced heel counters with moldable achilles clips, phylon foam midsoles, rigid TPU arch support plates, encapsulated forefoot & heel mounted air units, and solid rubber herringbone/waffle tread outsoles with tarsal outriggers on the lateral sides. made in korea. - this absolute chimaera of a silhouette hit retail shelves right around the turn of the millennium as a lightweight, flexible mixed-surface cross trainer. with an air presto-esque base layer, V-notches at the ankles as a callback to the experimental air gauntlet, TPU wings based on those of the jordan trunner bubble, and an outsole pulled directly from the elusive air cross trainer 2 (AXT2 for short), there really isn't a single portion of this sneaker that's entirely original, but that isn't a bad thing in this case. - i don't feel like i can call these a true a takedown version of the alpha project-branded AXT2, but their shared mid/outsole tooling is so unique amongst other cross trainers of the era that i felt it should be highlighted. their medial sides have a standard herringbone tread pattern for improved traction on smooth surfaces at the ball & heel, while their lateral sides sport a waffle iron tread pattern that's better suited for running applications, plus a sticky rubber bumper to help prevent their wearer's feet from rolling outward during quick lateral movements. - like many entry level and mid-tier silhouettes from this era, this model was never reissued again after its initial release. quite rare & appropriately summer-y. - available now on the website. link in bio.

- [FOR SALE] 2000 nike air trainerposite: newsprint/light stone - men's size 13, women's size 14.5 (31cm) - original box, laces, & insoles included. - 9.5/10 condition: fully intact with minor glue stains & some of the insole logos rubbed away, these appear to have been tried on indoors at some point. in excellent deadstock vintage condition for being 24 years old - ideal for collection, display, or photoshoot purposes on account of age. please read our policies before purchasing and wear at your own discretion. - features thermoformed PU composite & synthetic mesh uppers, polyester hex mesh inner booties, concealed ghillie eyelets with velcro lace shrouds, oval laces, overlasted phylon midsoles with enclosed zoom air units in the forefeet & heels of the insoles, and solid carbon rubber multisurface outsoles. made in china. - developed during the heyday of nike's alpha project line, the zoom air-equipped trainerposite hit the market as a low-profile cross trainer featuring their new rigid unibody upper construction method at a time where the foamposite lineup was almost exclusively basketball oriented. their wide V-notches at the ankles allow for improved rotational mobility over some of the ⅜-cut low top models like the air trainerposite max and the air fantaposite, however the shape & size of the cutout would allow some wearers' feet to slide out of them in serious cross training applications. many pairs would be quickly be demoted to casual wear purposes only due to this oversight. - as cool as these are, at the time of their release the trainerposite was just kind of… there, uncomfortably sandwiched between a roster of other celebrity-endorsed, more culturally significant sneakers. unfortunately, this model didn't have anything attached to it apart from its futuristic aesthetics and the "posite" name & technology it shared with its cooler older (and younger) cousins, which really didn't do it many favors. - despite nike's recent collaboration with @supremenewyork in reviving the air courtposite, nothing points to this particular model being reissued anytime soon. - available online under & in store. website link in bio.

- [FOR SALE] 2002 nike shox XT plus: metallic silver/black - men's size 9, women's size 10.5 (27cm) - replacement box, original laces & insoles included. - 9.5/10 condition: fully intact with faint smudging on both toe caps & some small markings on the rearmost lateral side shox column. these appear to be unworn with no visible separation/degradation in the shox components or signs wear on the insoles or outsoles - in amazing vintage condition for being 22 years old. please read our policies before buying and wear at your own discretion on account of age. - features double-stitched synthetic leather uppers with rigid TPU overlays, heat-molded PU composite heel clips, neoprene inner booties with integrated tongues, overlasted phylon foam midsoles, 3/4 length PU foam shox columns with pebax plastic stability plates, and solid carbon rubber outsoles. made in china. - an updated version of the original anti-gravity cross trainer, only this time with a smoother, more streamlined, less bionicle-esque exterior. their lack of zipper closures and adoption of R4-style synthetic leather instead of foamposite-based uppers made these a bit easier on the pockets with an MSRP of $130USD (about $225USD adjusted for today). - details surrounding their release & distribution are sparse. to date, there's only one documented print ad for these. an uber rare & forward-thinking silhouette that stands as one of the most elusive shox models in existence. - available now on the website. link in bio.
