First of all, I want to say a big thank you to Mrs. O for being so warm, kind, and free with me. 🤍
From the moment she walked into the studio, she carried such a beautiful energy. We had a wonderful conversation about her session, and speaking with her was truly inspiring. She made me feel comfortable immediately, and I could tell she was a remarkable woman.
After we finalized the session, she told me she didn’t want makeup. When I asked why, she smiled and said, “I don’t want my grandchildren debating whether it’s really me or not.” 😂
I laughed and said, Then we’ll go natural.
As the session began, she brought out her special hand beads and a customized hand fan. At that moment, I realized I was standing in front of someone truly distinguished. I felt deeply connected to her, and all I could keep saying was, Mummy, you are too beautiful.
Her soft grey hair, graceful presence, and youthful spirit made her seem decades younger than her age.
Thank you, ma, for your generosity and trust. I’m honored to have captured you naturally, in your true essence and elegance.
YEYE KUAJO OF USI EKITI 💙
Happy Birthday to a beautiful soul 🎂🤍
I have so much to say about her, she made her session so smooth, and I truly appreciate her for choosing my lens.
Honestly, I thought her birthday was on Monday since we had her shoot on Thursday. So I planned to edit her project today (Saturday) after finishing other jobs.
But last night around past 5pm, she messaged me warmly… and then reminded me, “tomorrow is my birthday.”
I froze 😅, I thought it was Monday, she said Saturday.
I had just finished editing about three projects and was ready to rest, but immediately I switched my mood, played Rihanna (Fly). and went straight into her project.
And at the end of it all… seeing that smile on her face made everything worth it.
Thank you for trusting my art 🤍📸
I will drop this here so I can come back to it and smile everyday ❤️.
2 years ago, I photographed Princess A.
It didn’t end well. There was a problem I didn’t understand at the time, and by the time I realized it, it was already too late.
She never came back… and that moment stayed with me. I felt disappointed, but I didn’t stop. I kept working, kept learning, kept improving hoping one day I’d get another chance to show her growth.
Two weeks ago, she walked into my studio again.
I won’t lie, I felt shy… but I gathered courage and welcomed her. I told her honestly, “I know I messed up the first time, but I’m not the same person you met then. You can count on me now.”
This time, we worked together.
We understood the problem, and turned it into her epitome of beauty. Today, seeing her smile meant everything to me. That moment wasn’t just a photoshoot… it was growth, redemption, and a new beginning.
I’m not perfect, but I won’t stop.
I’ll keep creating, keep improving, and keep showing up. Because perfection doesn’t come easy, it comes through consistency. 💯
To show how much trust and courage it took, she didn’t even go for makeup.
We created everything from her natural look and I enhanced the beauty through my editing.
Happy Birthday to a beautiful and artistic soul 🎂
When you said “I trust your decision” during the shoot, everything changed, that moment meant a lot.
