Bacon Kimchi Knish, a GORMAN GORMÄN dish.
The Knish is a potato filled Jewish dumpling. In the early 20th century, Ashkenazi immigrants popularized the pastry in the US, wheeling street carts around New York City. Korean food was also a staple of my New York City college life, both at home and in Ktown, alongside my trusty roommate @chiuweitz .
This dish reflects my passion for street food, respect for Korean cuisine, and place in the Jewish diaspora.

This game is remarkable. You feel it in your sinuses first: a shaky, pitching feeling, bright against the bridge of your nose. You could never call it hunting; itās a game.
Kra-Pow Chop-Cheese, a GORMAN GORMÄN dish.
Kra-Pow has been my favorite Thai dish for the longest time. I would regularly order it for lunch when I was 16, working at my local burger joint, and devour it in minutes.
Now, I live in New York, and my go to lunch has been upended by a Chop Cheese with pickles. Glibly, the sandwich is a chopped-up cheeseburger; first created at Hajjiās Deli in Harlem (contested), it has since spread to be a bodega classic.
The idea was prompted by my beautiful girlfriend, who I now eat lunch with every day in our amazing apartment. The most important ingredient for a good sandwich is good company. Xo @sanjanasubr
